How to Create Different Ticket Types in Payevento

A step by step guide to creating different ticket types in Payevento.

Payevento allows you to create separate ticket types for different pricing tiers or audience groups, such as Standard, VIP, Early Bird, Student, or Child tickets.

1. Open the ticket management page

  1. Go to Your events.

  2. Select the event for which you want to create tickets.

  3. Open the Tickets section.

  4. Click + New Ticket Type. You can also use the blue + button in the bottom-right corner.

2. Configure the ticket type

Complete the Ticket Configuration form:

  • Ticket Name - enter a clear name, for example:

    • Early Bird

    • Standard Admission

    • VIP

    • Student Ticket

    • Child Ticket

  • Ticket Description - briefly explain what the ticket includes and any conditions that apply.

  • Ticket Price - enter the price of one ticket.

  • Ticket Price Currency - select the currency in which the ticket will be sold, for example EUR.

  • Inventory - set the total number of tickets available for this ticket type. Keep the total and available quantities the same unless some tickets have already been reserved or sold.

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

3. Save the ticket type

Review the information and click Save Ticket Type.

The new ticket will appear in the Ticket Registry, where you can check:

  • ticket name and description;

  • price and currency;

  • sales status;

  • available and total quantity.

4. Create additional ticket types

To offer different prices or admission conditions:

  1. Click + New Ticket Type again.

  2. Enter a different name, description, price, currency, and quantity.

  3. Click Save Ticket Type.

  4. Repeat the process for every ticket category.

Create a separate ticket type for each pricing tier or audience segment. This makes inventory and revenue easier to track.

5. Manage existing ticket types

In the Ticket Registry, use:

  • Edit - to update the ticket’s details, price, or inventory;

  • Deactivate - to stop offering the ticket without permanently removing it;

  • Active tab - to view ticket types currently available;

  • Deactivated tab or Deactivated Tickets button - to view inactive ticket types.

Before opening sales, confirm that every ticket type has the correct price, currency, description, and available quantity.
