How to add delivery pricing?

A step-by-step guide to adding delivery pricing to your store

Delivery Pricing controls the shipping methods available at checkout for the currently selected store. Each method defines its own cost, delivery time, and which countries it's offered in - so pricing can vary by courier and by market. This guide covers adding a delivery method, translating its name, and managing or deleting it.

What is Delivery Pricing for?

Delivery Pricing is where you manage the shipping methods, pricing rules, and delivery timing available at checkout for the currently selected store. Each entry defines a courier, what it costs, how long it takes, and which countries it's offered in.

Before you start: a delivery method can't be created until your store has at least one currency and one language configured - the Currency field on the Add Delivery Method form stays empty until a currency exists. Set these up first:

Switching to your store context

Delivery pricing is managed from the Store context. If a different context is currently active, switch to your store first:
  • Click the Context switcher in the top navigation bar.

  • Select Store from the list.

The dashboard now shows live data for the selected store:

Opening Delivery Pricing

  • Click Your store in the left sidebar to expand it, then click Delivery pricing.

The Delivery Pricing page shows the store you're currently managing, how many delivery methods are configured, and a registry table listing them:

Adding a delivery method

  • Click + Add Delivery Method.

  • Fill in the delivery method settings:

Field Description
Courier name The name of the courier or shipping method, shown to customers at checkout.
Courier type The kind of delivery method, for example Courier.
Currency The currency this method is priced in. Requires at least one currency to already be configured for the store.
Price (in smallest currency unit) The delivery cost, entered in the smallest unit of the selected currency.
Days to deliver The estimated number of days delivery takes.
Variability type What the price can scale by, for example number of items.
Variability number The quantity threshold tied to the variability type.
Active Inactive methods stay configured but are hidden from checkout.
Default When enabled, this method becomes the default delivery option for the store.
Delivery countries Only checked countries will have this delivery method available; use Check all or Uncheck all to speed this up.

At the bottom of the form, a summary confirms which store you're adding the method to. Click Create Delivery Method to save it, or Cancel to discard it:

Reviewing the new delivery method

The method now appears in the Delivery Method Registry, along with its pricing rule, delivery time, and status:

Managing a delivery method

Click the menu next to a delivery method to:

  • Edit - change the method's settings.
  • Translations - manage localized names for the method.
  • Add to all products - make this delivery method available across your product catalog.
  • Delete - remove the delivery method.

Adding a translation

Opening Translations shows the localized names configured for this delivery method:
  • Click + Add Translation.

  • Choose the Language and enter the localized Courier name that customers in that language will see.

This name is displayed in the delivery step and payment summary in the current storefront language. Click Add Translation to save it, or Cancel to discard it:

The translation now appears in the list, where it can be edited or deleted:

Deleting a delivery method

From the Delivery Pricing list, open the menu next to the method and select Delete. A confirmation dialog appears, naming the method to be removed:

Click Delete to permanently remove it, or Cancel to keep it and close the dialog.
