Hidden payment methods let a store turn off specific payment options at checkout, without affecting orchestration or other stores. This article covers hiding a payment method, and editing or deleting an existing entry.
What is Hidden payment methods for?
Hidden payment methods let you hide specific payment methods - configured at the orchestration level - from checkout for the currently selected store. Use this to offer a different subset of payment options per store without removing the method from orchestration entirely.
Switching to your store context
- Click the Context switcher in the top navigation bar.

- Select Store from the list.

The dashboard now shows live data for the selected store.
Opening Hidden payment methods
- Click Your store in the left sidebar to expand it, then click Payment methods.


The Hidden payment methods page shows the store you're currently managing and how many payment methods are currently hidden.
Hiding a payment method
- Click + Hide payment method.

- Choose the Hidden Payment Method to hide from the dropdown. This lists the payment methods configured through orchestration.

The Context Summary panel on the right confirms the store, section, and mode you're working in.
Saving
Click Save to hide the selected payment method, or Cancel to discard it.

Reviewing hidden payment methods
The payment method now appears in the Hidden payment methods list:

Managing a hidden payment method
- Edit - change which payment method is hidden.
- Delete - remove the entry, making the payment method available at checkout again.


Deleting a hidden payment method


A confirmation dialog appears asking "Are you sure you want to delete this configuration item?" Click Delete to permanently remove it and restore the payment method to checkout, or Cancel to keep it hidden and close the dialog.
