Discount codes allow you to offer customers a percentage or fixed-value reduction when they place an order in Perno Store. You can define how often a code may be used, set cart-value limits, add an expiration date and exclude products that are already on promotion.
Before creating a discount code, make sure that the correct Perno Store is selected in the context switcher at the top of the page. Discount codes are created separately for each store.
Open the Discount Codes section

In the main navigation menu, expand Products.

Select Discount codes.

The page displays all discount codes created for the currently selected store.

Click Add discount code.
Configure the discount code
Complete the following fields:

Code – enter the code that customers will use when placing an order, for example SUMMER10.

Usage Type – choose whether the code can be used once or multiple times.

Discount Type – select the type of discount, such as a percentage discount or a fixed-amount discount.

Discount Value – enter the value of the discount. For a percentage discount, enter the percentage value, for example 10 for a 10% discount. For a fixed discount, enter the amount in the smallest currency unit. For example, 1234 represents 12.34 in the selected currency.

Currency – select the currency used for a fixed-amount discount. This field is required for fixed discounts.

Active – keep this option selected if the code should be available to customers immediately.

Expires At – optionally select the date and time after which the code can no longer be used.

Min Cart Value – optionally define the minimum cart value required to use the code.

Max Cart Value – optionally define the maximum cart value for which the code may be used.

Exclude promo products – select this option if the discount should not apply to products that are already on promotion.
Minimum and maximum cart values must also be entered in the smallest currency unit.
Save the discount code

Review all settings.

Click Save.
The new discount code will appear in the list together with its discount value, usage type and current status. Customers can use an active code when placing an eligible order in your Perno Store.
To leave the form without creating the code, click Cancel or Back.
Manage an existing discount code
Click the three-dot menu next to a discount code to access the available actions:

Edit – change the code or its conditions.

Delete – permanently remove the discount code.
If you want to temporarily prevent customers from using a code without deleting it, edit the code and clear the Active checkbox.
