How to Edit a Store in Perno

A step by step guide to editing your store in Perno.

Follow these steps to update an existing store in Perno.

1. Select the correct store

Log in to Perno and use the Context selector at the top of the page to choose the store you want to edit.

Always verify the selected store before making changes.

2. Open the store editor

In the left-hand navigation:

  1. Expand Your store.

  2. Select Edit store.

The Edit Store page will display the store’s current settings.

3. Update the store configuration

In the Store Configuration section, you can edit:

  • Store Name – the name displayed for the store.

  • Main Admin Language – the language used in the administration panel.

  • Merchant Status – the store operator’s business status.

  • Storefront Delivery Time Display – determines whether delivery times are shown to customers.

The Default Store Address is generated automatically by Perno and cannot be edited on this page. To use a custom domain, select Contact us.

4. Update the merchant’s details

Review and edit the information in the Merchant Identity section:

  • Merchant name

  • VAT ID/NIP

  • Merchant email address

  • Merchant phone number

Make sure the details match the business operating the store.

5. Update the merchant’s address

In the Merchant Address section, update:

  • Street

  • Building number

  • Apartment number, if applicable

  • City

  • ZIP code

6. Update brand assets

In the Brand Assets section, you can replace or add:

  • Store logo

  • Favicon

  • OG image used for online and social-media sharing

  • Account page image displayed on login and password-reset pages

If no account page image is uploaded, Perno uses the default store image.

7. Update contact email addresses

Review or change:

  • Email Address for Customers

  • Email Address for Retailers

  • Email Address for Orders

Use Email Type to Show to choose which email address should be displayed publicly in the store.

8. Update maps and social-media information

If necessary, update the store’s information in the Maps & Social Media section.

Check that all links are complete and lead to the correct profiles or locations.

9. Update custom code

The Custom HTML & Ads section contains advanced settings:

  • HTML Header Additional Code

  • HTML Footer Additional Code

  • Ads Additional Code

Only edit these fields if you have verified HTML, tracking or advertising code. Incorrect code may affect the store’s appearance or functionality.

10. Save the changes

Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save Changes.

To leave the editor without saving your modifications, select Cancel. After saving, you can use Preview store to confirm that the updated information is displayed correctly.

11. Clear the store cache

After editing and saving the store information, we recommend clearing the store cache. This helps ensure that the updated settings are loaded in the storefront and that customers do not see an older cached version of the store information.

To clear the cache:

  1. Make sure that you have saved your changes.

  2. Expand Your store in the left-hand navigation.

  3. Select Cache.

  4. Select Clear cache.

  5. Confirm the action if a confirmation message appears.

After clearing the cache, select Preview store or open the storefront and confirm that the updated information is displayed correctly.
