How to use the Instagram photos module

A step by step guide to managing your Instagram photos in Perno store.

The Instagram Photos section in Perno Store allows you to create and manage an Instagram-style image gallery displayed in your online store. You can upload images, choose their position in the gallery and control the order in which they appear.

Before adding a photo, check the Context field in the top-right corner of the panel. Make sure that the correct Perno Store is selected. Photos are added only to the store currently shown in the context.

How to add an Instagram photo

  1. Open the Content section in the left-hand menu.

  2. Select Instagram photos.

  3. Check the Store Context displayed on the page to confirm that you are managing the correct store.

  1. Click Add Photo. If the gallery is empty, you can also click Add First Photo.

  1. In the Photo File field, click Choose File and select an image from your device.
Supported file formats are JPG, PNG, GIF and WEBP.

  2. In the Sequence Position field, enter the position where the image should appear in the gallery.
Position 0 places the photo at the beginning of the gallery. If other photos already occupy this or a later position, they will be moved down automatically.

  3. Review the information in the Context Summary section. It shows the selected store, the current number of photos and the suggested position for the new image.

  4. Click Upload Photo to add the image to the store.

The uploaded image will appear in the Instagram Feed Registry. The Feed Assets counter will also be updated.

Managing Instagram photos

The Instagram Feed Registry displays all images currently included in the store’s Instagram-style gallery. Each image card shows its sequence position, file information and assigned store.

To add another image, click Add Photo and repeat the steps above.

Use the menu icon in the top-right corner of an image card to access the available management options, including changing the image order or removing an image that should no longer appear in the gallery.

For the best visual result, use square or nearly square images. Keep the first few photos visually consistent, as they are displayed most prominently and have the greatest impact on how the store presents its brand.
