Product Recommendations allow you to display related products to customers while they are viewing a particular product in Perno Store. You can use recommendations to promote complementary products or higher-value alternatives, support cross-selling and help customers discover other relevant items.
Recommendations are configured separately for each product and can only be selected from products available in the currently selected store context.
Open Product Recommendations

Make sure that the correct Perno Store is selected in the context switcher at the top of the page.

In the main navigation menu, expand Products.

Select Products.

Find the product for which you want to configure recommendations.

Click the three-dot menu in the Actions column.

Select Recommendations.
The Product Recommendations page shows:

Recommendations – the number of products currently assigned as recommendations.

Store Context – the store from which recommended products can be selected.
-
Current Recommendations – the products currently associated with the selected product.

Add Recommendation – the section used to find and add another product.
Add a product recommendation

In the Search Product by Name or ID field, enter:

part or all of the product name, or
-
the product’s exact ID.

Click Search.

Review the products displayed under Search Results. Each result includes the product name, ID, description and price.

Find the product that you want to recommend.

Click Add Recommendation next to that product.
The product is added immediately and appears under Current Recommendations. The recommendation counter at the top of the page is also updated.
Recommended products will be shown to customers while they are viewing the original product.
Manage current recommendations
The Current Recommendations section shows all products currently associated with the selected product.
To remove a recommendation:

Click the three-dot menu next to the recommended product.

Select Remove.
This removes only the recommendation relationship. It does not delete the product from the store catalogue.
Perno does not allow the same recommendation to be added more than once. If the selected product is already associated with the original product, the message This product recommendation already exists appears.
Navigate to related product settings
Use the buttons at the top of the page to continue managing the product:

Edit Product – opens the selected product’s editing form.

Back to Products – returns to the product catalogue.
For effective cross-selling, select products that complement the original item or provide a relevant higher-value alternative.
