How to manage store caches and clear them?

A stpe-by-step guide to managing your stores' cache

This is where you set how long a store's storefront content stays cached before it's regenerated. Below, you'll find how to adjust cache durations and clear the cache right away.

What is Cache settings for?

Cache settings control how long different areas of the storefront are cached before being regenerated, for the currently selected store. Longer durations reduce server load; shorter durations get content updates in front of customers faster.

Switching to your store context

Cache settings are managed from the Store context. If a different context is currently active, switch to your store first:
  • Click the Context switcher in the top navigation bar.

  • Select Store from the list.

The dashboard now shows live data for the selected store.

Opening Cache settings

  • Click Your store in the left sidebar to expand it, then click Cache settings.

The Store cache settings page shows the store you're currently managing and the current cache durations for each section.

Adjusting cache durations

Each section accepts a duration in minutes. Use 0 to disable caching for that section:
  • Main Page - the storefront homepage.
  • Product Lists - category and product listing pages.
  • Single Product - individual product pages.
  • Blog - blog posts and listings.
  • Knowledge Base - knowledge base articles.
  • Content Pages - static content pages.

Saving cache settings

Click Save settings to apply the changes, or Cancel to discard them.

Clearing the cache

To immediately clear all cached content for the store, rather than waiting for it to expire:
  • Click Your store in the left sidebar to expand it, then click Clear cache.

The cache is cleared right away, and a confirmation message - "Store cache has been cleared." - appears at the top of the page.
