This guide explains what happens when you buy a ticket through Perno Payevento, how the ticket is delivered to your email address, and how its QR code can be used to verify the ticket.
You do not need a Perno account to purchase or verify a ticket.
1. Open the event page
Open the public event link provided by the event organizer. The link may be available on the organizer’s website, social media profile, event page, or in a message sent directly to you.
The event page displays information such as:
-
Event name
-
Date and time
-
Location
-
Organizer information
-
Event description
-
Available ticket types
-
Ticket prices

2. Select your tickets
Find the ticket type you want to purchase and use the + button to select the required quantity.
If several ticket types are available, such as Standard, VIP, Early Bird, or Student tickets, make sure you select the correct one.
Check:
-
The selected ticket type
-
The number of tickets
-
The price of each ticket
-
The total order value
If you have a discount code, select I have a discount code, enter the code, and confirm that the discount has been applied.
Select Proceed to checkout when your order is correct.
3. Enter your details and complete the payment
Enter the purchaser information required in the checkout form. Make sure you provide a valid email address, because the purchased tickets and their QR codes will be sent to this address.
Select one of the payment methods available for the event and complete the payment through the displayed payment provider.
For a detailed description of the checkout and payment process, see How to Pay for a Ticket in Perno Payevento.
4. Receive your ticket by email
After the purchase is completed successfully, Payevento generates a ticket with a unique ticket code and QR code.
The ticket is sent to the email address provided during checkout. If one order contains several tickets, each ticket has its own unique QR code.
Check your inbox for the message containing:
-
Event information
-
Ticket type
-
Unique ticket code
-
Ticket QR code
If you cannot find the message, check your spam or junk folder. If the ticket is still unavailable, contact the event organizer and provide the email address used during the purchase.

5. Verify the ticket using its QR code
The QR code can be scanned to verify that the ticket is correct and belongs to the relevant event.
The ticket purchaser can scan the QR code before the event using a smartphone camera or another QR-code scanning application. After scanning it, check that the displayed ticket information matches the ticket that was purchased.
The QR code can also be scanned by the event organizer or event staff when the ticket holder arrives at the venue.

6. Present the ticket at the event
At the entrance to the event:
-
Open the email containing your ticket.
-
Display the QR code on your phone or present a printed version.
-
Allow the organizer or event staff to scan the QR code.
-
Present a separate QR code for each attendee if several tickets were purchased.
Scanning the QR code allows the organizer to confirm that:
-
The ticket belongs to the correct event.
-
The ticket information is correct.
-
The ticket is valid for admission.
-
The same QR code is not being presented by another person.
Do not publish or share your ticket’s QR code. Anyone who has access to it may attempt to use it.
If the QR code cannot be verified, show the ticket email and unique ticket code to the event organizer.
