The Duplicate function in Perno Store lets you create a new product from an existing catalog entry. The duplicate is added as a separate product, which you can modify without changing the original.
How to duplicate a product

Use the Context selector at the top of the panel to choose the correct store.

Open Products in the left-hand menu.

Select Products to display the product list.

Find the product you want to copy.

Click the three-dot menu in the Actions column.

Select Duplicate.

Wait for the new product to appear in the list. Its name will include (Copy).
Review the duplicated product
The duplicate is independent of the original. In the example shown, it keeps the same price and appears with Published status and Active visibility. Review it immediately if it should not yet be available to customers.
Open the product’s three-dot menu and select Edit. Check and update:

Product name and description

Slug or page URL
-
SKU, EAN and other unique identifiers

Price and currency
-
Stock and availability
-
Publication status and storefront visibility

The exact information copied may depend on the original product’s configuration, so review each section before using the duplicate.
Recommended practices

Remove (Copy) from the name before publishing.

Assign unique identifiers and a unique slug.

Confirm the price, stock and delivery settings.
-
Replace any photos or translations that do not apply.

Deactivate the copy while it is still being prepared.

Preview the product in the storefront before accepting orders.
