How to Pay for a Ticket in Perno Payevento

A step by step guide to paying for a ticket in Payevento.

This guide explains how to select, purchase, and use a ticket for an event available through Perno Payevento. As a ticket purchaser, you do not need a Perno account or access to the organizer’s administration panel.

1. Open the event ticket page

Open the public event link provided by the event organizer. The link takes you directly to the event page, where you can review the event information and select tickets.

If you do not have the event link

If you are purchasing a ticket, ask the event organizer for the link or look for it on the organizer’s website, social media profile, or other official event communication.

If you are the event organizer, log in to Perno, select Payevento from the context menu, and open Your events. Find the event in the Event Registry, then open or copy the public event link displayed under the event information. Buyers do not need to perform these administrative steps.

2. Select your tickets

On the event page:

  1. Review the event name, date, time, location, organizer, and description.

  2. Find the ticket type you want to purchase.

  3. Use the + button to increase the number of tickets.

  4. Use the - button to reduce the number if necessary.

  5. Check the price of each ticket and the total order value.

If you have a discount code:

  1. Select I have a discount code.

  2. Enter the code.

  3. Apply it and confirm that the order total has been updated.

When your order is correct, select Proceed to checkout.

3. Enter the purchaser’s details

Complete the Order Details form. The required information may include:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Email address

  • Address

  • Country

Make sure that the email address is correct. Payevento uses it to send information related to your purchase, including the tickets and their QR codes.

You can also:

  • Select the newsletter option if you want to receive updates from the organizer.

  • Select I want an invoice and enter the required billing information if you need an invoice.

4. Choose a payment method

Select one of the payment methods available for the event. The displayed options depend on the organizer’s payment configuration and may include:

  • Visa or Mastercard

  • BLIK

  • Pay by link

  • Bank transfer

  • PayPo

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

  • Klarna

  • Bancontact

  • EPS

  • Revolut Pay

Only one payment method can be selected for an order.

After choosing the preferred method, select Proceed to payment.

5. Complete the payment

After selecting Proceed to payment, you are redirected to the payment wall operated by the payment service provider assigned to the selected payment method in Perno Orchestration.

The payment page and the information you need to provide may differ depending on the payment service provider and payment method. You are not always redirected to Stripe.

On the payment provider’s page:

  1. Check the order amount and payment details.

  2. Enter the information required for the selected payment method.

  3. Confirm the payment.

  4. Complete any additional authorization required by your bank or payment provider.

  5. Wait for the payment result to appear.

Do not close or refresh the page while the payment is being processed.

6. Check your email and access your tickets

After completing the payment, check the email address provided during checkout. Payevento sends purchase-related messages to this address, including the purchased tickets.

Each ticket contains its own unique QR code. If you purchased several tickets, make sure you have access to the QR code assigned to each ticket.

Keep the tickets available on your phone or print them before arriving at the event. Do not publish or share the QR codes, because another person could attempt to use them.

If you cannot find the message, check your spam or junk folder. If it is still unavailable, contact the event organizer and provide the email address used during checkout and the available order information.

7. Present the QR code at the event

At the entrance:

  1. Open the ticket received by email.

  2. Display its QR code on your phone or present a printed version.

  3. Allow the event staff to scan the code.

  4. Repeat this process for every purchased ticket if more than one person is entering.

The QR code is scanned to verify that the ticket:

  • belongs to the correct event;

  • is connected with a completed payment;

  • is valid for admission;

  • has not already been used or presented by another person.

A copied, invalid, previously used, or unpaid ticket may be rejected during the verification process.

8. Confirm that the purchase was successful

As a purchaser, confirm that:

  • the payment provider displayed a successful payment result;

  • you received the purchase-related email;

  • the purchased ticket or tickets and their QR codes are available.

Some payment methods may require additional processing time. If the payment result remains pending, wait for confirmation before trying to place another order.

Information for event organizers

The administrative payment-status verification is performed by the event organizer, not by the ticket purchaser.

The organizer can select the Payevento context in Perno, open All sold tickets, and check the ticket’s status. A green Paid status confirms that the payment was completed. An Unpaid ticket must not be treated as a valid admission ticket.

For the complete organizer workflow, see Paid Tickets Module in Perno Payevento.
